1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Yamas Greece! By accessing or using our website yamasgreece.com (the "Site") or booking any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms").

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our Site or services. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Service Description

Yamas Greece provides food and travel content, recommendations, and curated experiences in Athens, Greece. Our services include:

  • Private Food Tours: Personalized culinary walking tours led by food editor Dimitris Stathopoulos
  • Travel Content: Editorial articles, guides, and recommendations about Greek food and culture
  • Affiliate Partnerships: Links to third-party booking platforms for tours, hotels, and travel services

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time without notice.

3. Affiliate Disclosure

Important: Yamas Greece participates in affiliate programs with various travel and booking platforms. This means we may earn a commission when you click our links and make a booking or purchase.

3.1 Our Affiliate Partners

We currently work with the following affiliate partners:

  • GetYourGuide: Tours, activities, and experiences
  • Booking.com: Hotel and accommodation bookings
  • TravelPayouts: Flights, hotels, and travel services

3.2 How Affiliate Links Work

When you click an affiliate link on our Site and make a booking or purchase, the affiliate partner may pay us a commission. This does not affect the price you pay — you pay the same amount whether you use our link or go directly to the partner's website.

3.3 Our Promise

We only recommend tours, hotels, and services we genuinely believe in. Our editorial content is independent, and affiliate partnerships do not influence our recommendations. If we think something is worth recommending, we'll tell you — regardless of whether we earn a commission.

4. Bookings & Cancellations

4.1 Private Food Tours (Direct Bookings)

For private food tours booked directly with Yamas Greece:

  • Booking Confirmation: Your booking is confirmed upon payment or email confirmation from us
  • Cancellation Policy: Please contact us at least 48 hours before your tour for a full refund
  • Weather: Tours run rain or shine. If severe weather occurs, we'll work with you to reschedule
  • No-Shows: No refund will be provided for no-shows without prior notice

4.2 Third-Party Bookings (Affiliate Links)

For tours, hotels, or services booked through our affiliate partners (GetYourGuide, Booking.com, etc.):

  • You are entering into a contract directly with the third-party provider, not with Yamas Greece
  • The provider's terms, cancellation policies, and refund policies apply
  • We are not responsible for the quality, accuracy, or fulfillment of third-party services
  • Any issues with third-party bookings must be resolved directly with the provider
